Born in 1953, I move to Western Australia in 76. I worked in the fishing, farming and mineral exploration industry for the next 20 years or so. I moved to Queensland in 1990 brought a rundown farm on the coast near Rockhampton, where I stuffed my back working for the man. Two ops later I did a one day introduction course in lead lighting (something I had always liked to look at) I started to sell my work at the local arts and craft markets. I moved back to NZ in 2000 and got back in to glass lead light windows, then glass fusing for some years. It was only 4 years ago that I took up the torch, after 25 years of being constricted by lead lines in a design, I’m now free to let the glass flow. My work is all about colour.
